GLEASON Revacycle type cutter

For gear & pinion – roughing & Completing cutters  type suitable for 16", 21" & 25" Diameter cutter bodies 

A circular broach-style cutter used for high-volume manufacture of straight bevel gearing. A unique side profile relief design optimizes coolant flow to the cutting edge to enhance chip disposal and improve performance. Produces one tooth slot in one revolution of the cutter.

Sets of segments for REVACYCLE type cutters

• One-operation (Completing)

• Two-operation, one set of Roughing segments and one set of finishing segment

• These segments are used for cutting straight bevel gears and pinions for low

• speed bevel-gear differential when number of teeth for pinion z1>=9 and for gear

• z2=13-25. They are manufactured in two types:

1. one-operation (Completing)

2.  Two-operation, one set of Roughing segments and one set of finishing segments.

Sets of segments for REVACYCLE 21" cutter heads are designed separately for each straight bevel gear differential. If you want to order set of segments for new bevel gear differential please send us following data:

1. Requirement of one time all 15 or 16 segment Master samples to be provided along with order

or

2. Pinion & gear drawing, cutting machine number, symbols of feed cams for your generating machine.
